Welcome to the website of the Sacramento Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). We are trytrying hard to make a difference by --

• Working to see that government promises to its military, their families and their survivors are kept.
• Helping those who are patients and their families in military treatment centers.
• Fostering fraternal relations among all branches of the military services.
• Furthering the education of children of service personnel through a Scholorship Program.
• Supporting local college ROTC Programs and high school Junior ROTC Programs.
• Stimulating a love of country and the flag.
• Advocating military forces adequate to the defense of our country.

• College Army ROTC and Air Force Programs at Sacramento State University and the University of California at Davis

ON-GOING ACTIVITIES

Monthly Board Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at the Aerospace Museum in the second floor conference room. All are invited.

Monthly dinner-dances with local orchestras are announced in the newsletter and held at the Carmichael Elks Club.

College ROTC scholarships are presented at the Dinner-Dance, which is Military Formal or Formal Civilian Dress.

Student scholarships are presented at the June Dinner-Dance.

Installation of the Chapter Board of Directors takes place at the November Formal Military Ball.
